how do i step from a 100 foot pole

I know its never easy to step out of your comfort zone, it is the most hardest thing to do yet we have to do it in some point of our lives. As a person you need to be able to adjust yourself to any situation, it does no matter if it is for a short period but you need to be able to do so.

When ever I visit KwaZulu Natal, I have to change my appearance ( clothing, cut my nails, take of nail polish) and I must prepare my self to walk for at least an hour to a Spaza shop. It is never easy because I change few things that define me but I do nt complain because I need to learn how an Africa\ Zulu girl should be like. While I think I m stepping out of my comfort zone I m actually learning something.

To be able to step down to a certain level , you must be a person who is welling to change and adjust to different situations. And lastly, everything comes by choice; we all have choices and we all have to step down to a lower level one day

ants clever

Have you ever set down and watch ants working up and down. I have done it, I realised that they walk with a fast pace and showing that they are determined in what they are doing. These dude work very hard and they know what they want at the end of autumn. Check this out, in summer you will find thousand let's me say millions of ants walking up and down, looking for food. When autumn comes, you will see that the number of ants decrease; I think it is because others have already collected enough food to last them for winter. Come winter, you will not see nt even a single ant, they are all in their houses. I have done an experiment where I putted a sweet behind the door, guess what Mr and Mrs did not pitch up. Days went by and I did nt see any ant around. I was so surprised because I thought it was a myth that ants goes away when it is winter. This little creatures are clever more than humans because you will never hear a human who collects something for the near future. I wish I was an ant, as small as they are but they have big brains

drinking water

drink water. http://www.winnipeg.ca

Everybody told me that drinking eight glasses of water is good for me and for my health. Well, did I take note to what they were telling me, no I did not listen.  I could not stand the taste of the water regardless if you put a lemon slice; I was drinking sodas, juices and alcohol. I would go for days without drinking water until I was diagnosed kidney infection. Then I started to drink water but it was not easy I felt like I was punished when I had to drink water and I could not even finish a glass of water. I got sicker and sicker to a point where I landed in hospital. My mother and nurses forced me to drink water like I was a baby, I felt like I was in jail and I don’t  have a say . Eventually I got used to the taste and l was no longer feeling like I was going to vomit after drinking water, I drunk two to three glasses per day.

Now I drink four-five bottles of 750ml of water and if I don’t drink water I feel dehydrated, sick, my whole body shakes. I think I have a problem of being addicted to water and I do not think it is healthy because I can’t go an hour without drinking water. Yeah, I know it is healthy to drink water I got a huge wake-up call but now I have a fear what I go to a place where is no water for a day how will I cope?

we are what we do

Each individual has a unique personality and what he/ she does is what the person is. Whenever a person does something (good/ bad), that person portrays a picture of his or her personality to other people who are looking. Often this happens, a stranger (someone you don’t talk or know) might know you more than your friends just by judging you at that specific moment you with them. Most of the time people’s true colours come to life when they are with people they don’t know and that is how a stranger can easily dictate the person you are. Your friends know you as this nice, easy going and soft person; now you are at a club you get drunk and you start being load, swear, you strip you clothes off and you want to kiss every guy who is in the club. Therefore people who don’t know you will give you all sorts of names and that will be what you are in real life because most people’s true colour or should I say personalities show when they are drunk.
Whatever you do know that you are what you do regardless of it is a bad or good.

we are afraid of doing the wrong thing

scared person. http://www.swis-miss swiss.com

I have been sitting and when i think of this topic the only word that comes out of my mouth is yhoooo! Am I really afraid to do something?  Well I am actually are afraid to do many things because I don’t want to be judged by people.  I believe if I do something wrong people will actually notice and judge. I don’t think other people are afraid of doing anything wrong it is just the fear of being judged.
I know no body is a perfectionist but people try to be one because of certain expects. People are no longer who they are but they are who people want them to be because they don’t want to be judged. There people who fear no judgment like those who take drugs and those who misbehaves.  I think this is all about your personality as a person, are you a person who is shy or you are bold person.

Age does not matter

no under the age of 18

The government suggested that they will increase the age of the people who should be allowed to buy alcohol to 21 years. This is all possibly happening because they think that people younger than the age 21 year are irresponsible when they consume alcohol.

Firstly, I totally disagree with that because if you to a club or tavern you will find that the people who are being irresponsible are older than the age 18 they do things that not even an 18-year-old would do. Being irresponsible has nothing to do with age, it has to do with self-respect, loving yourself and knowing who you are. I find it very disturbing that the government has not done its research they assume that only those who are teens that are irresponsible. That is totally rubbish to me.
Secondly it will not work, not only in townships but also in night clubs (Long Street).  I say this because a person whose is allowed to enter the club should be 18 years so now do they think that these people (18-20) will not go to clubs or will not be severed alcohol in clubs, or they will tell club owners to increase the age too. In township I will not work because the 18 year-old things have not worked either so it is pointless to come with a plan that I find sooo stupid.

If they want to increase the age they should just do so and not talk about being responsible, and I see no reason to increase the age because it is not working and will not work.

FISH FALLING FROM THE SKY

I don’t know where to start I am clueless but let me try.

fish falling from the sky.  http://www.scoop.co.zn
We know that is no fish that could fall from the sky. Imagine if there were fishes that fall from the sky how would the atmosphere and air smell like “fishy”, is it not so? Check this out you take bath or shower every morning , you put on perfume or colon just to smell nice  and the moment you step out side BooM the fish falls from the sky and  you definitely smell like you have not taken a bath for days and you will be so irritated  .

I think the fish is compared to bad weather conditions such as tornado, heavy snow and thunderstorms that falls from the sky . The tornadoes and other bad weather conditions are rare to occur and when they occur they live behind disaster, bad smell and an unpleasant atmosphere at that specific area.
heavy snow. http://www.sprocketink.com

These bad weather conditions I refer them as “fish falling from the sky” because in some place the bad weather conditions have not yet occurred. Maybe one day there will be fishes falling from the sky and one day Ghana or Nigeria will experience heavy snow (winter).

oh shame Cliff

gareth cliff with his lawyer.  http://www.channel24.co.za

Cliff was found driving at 182km/h in a 120km/h zone, he was arrested and released the following day. He is facing charges of speeding, his drivers license might be taken away form him and I don’t mean suspended I mean he must reapply for learner’s license and also driver’s license. It is so unfair because he was not found drunk nor he made an accident, I don’t get it why they taking his drivers license.

It is unfortunate for him because he is not the only South African driver who drives over the speed limit. How many accidents that occur in high ways, how many people are caught red handed under the influence of alcohol or what ever and how many people die because of speed? Have you ever heard just once not twice a person who has committed the above mentioned incident, his or her license taken; HELL NO!
jub-jub`s mini copper .http://www.timeslive.co.za
Jub-Jub is a perfect example for this, he is facing charges of driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol but his drivers license is suspended meaning when ever he wins his case or when ever he comes out of jail he can use his driver’s license; for Cliff it’s another story.
I admit he was wrong for driving in such a speed regardless where he was rushing to or from and he had no right what so ever to ignore the road rules. All I want to know is there a protocol or rule in South Africa that says if you exceed the speed limit you drive`s license will be taken away from you and you will have to reapply. I have never heard of such a thing, please correct me if I am wrong on this.

salon hours

salon time
http://www.curlychic.com/

It is not easy to be a black woman especially in the hair department. When going to a salon you need to be prepared because you know it will take the whole day.  what I ussually do I cancel everything  or choose a day where I have absolutely nothing to do.
i bring food, magazine, cellphone and a friend just to keep my day going, it is funny when you look at what I bring and you might think I don’t use everything . Well, that is were you wrong I speak, I eat, I make new friends and even gossip; this is a funny way of socialising but it works and you will never get bored. I ussually sit 10 hours , to have the perfect braids and at least 5-6 hours when I m doing weave , that depends on how many people are in the salon. The money I spend each year can deposit a cheap car, well I need to look beautiful and I put affort in my beauty.

what is the colour of the wind

tonado
http://www.atwillet.com/
The wind has different colours according to different people`s perception. It is imposible to touch and to see the wind but in some cases you can actually see the wind with a naked eye. When there is a tonado you can actually see the wind, it is grey white. Surelly the wind has colour because it would not be showing the grey white colour when there is a tonado.  A person can say the wind is red , green or what ever colour but to me the wind has one colour and that is neutral . The wind reacts to the specific reaction and that brings the colour up.
